Jon A. Husted is a Republican member of the Ohio Senate, representing the 6th District. Jon Husted was first elected to the Legislature in 2000, representing Ohio's 37th House District. In 2005, and again in 2007, Husted's colleagues honored him by electing him Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives. In 2008, Husted was elected to the Ohio Senate. Jon Husted is currently running for Secretary of State.
